India is a land of mysticism, marvels, and healing. From centuries, the soil of India has been nurturing the forefathers and practitioners of Ayurveda, one of the ancient glories to mankind.

Ayurveda is the oldest of the traditional healing systems humans have known and practice. The human body is important to the Ayurvedic study and treatment. However, the mind and soul are not left far behind in the principles of Ayurveda.  Therefore, it is rightly said that Ayurveda is the system of holistic healing because it is the science of the body, mind, and soul– the three cores of life.

The application of Ayurveda principles for treatment in Ayurveda explains the physiology, etiology, and pathology, hence covering all the facets essential for digging the root of an ailment. The physiology, etiology, and pathology are connected to the Tri-doshas and body type.


Tri-Dosha: Our constitution is the inherent balance of energies within the body and mind. The unique balance of three energies Vata, Pitta, and Kapha determine everything from the bone structure to the psychological makeup. These three fundamental energies are known as Tri-dosha which governs the functioning of the body and mind. Ayurveda is the science of Tridosha. It understands our constitution and heals the imbalances in the doshas.

Body Types: The energies of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha shape us. Vata people are thin, enthusiastic and energetic. Pitta makes you intense and goal-oriented with a strong appetite for life and Kapha provides characteristics such as easy going, methodological, and nurturing. For all types of energy there is a balanced and imbalanced expression.

Ayurveda is a practice of harmonizing the imbalances that manifest in the form of anxiety, sluggishness, poor digestion, inflammation, weight gain, etc. It is a pragmatic medical system which is simple to integrate into life.
